Sorry, it's a bug. I thought we fixed it through a patch already. I will keep an eye on it. Mostly it would happen in a castle battle while one of the
enemy general is trapped and couldn't be killed for some reason, but in this case, I guess it happens in field battle as well. Thanks for bring it up.

I had an obvious victory within the opening moments of a battle by using 3 cavalry divisions on the enemy's base. They immediately retreated and all there
men left the field of battle. Yet the victory screen would not appear, and at nightfall all my men retreated off the screen due to "getting too dark to
fight". On exiting to World mode I was informed I lost the battle.

Was this problem resolved in the patch or did something else happen to cause this?

Although the internal code has its caculation on what other generals may side with, we are short of time to building the interface to show players the data.
In S&H1, you can look at the general's ambition and honour points to get an idea. The decision to join a rebel is based on the overall strenth of
rebels vs the overall king's loyal governors' strength, the distance to each leader (rebel leader and the king)'s capital, potential foreign aids
to the rebel, and each...

What a BRILLIANT game Sango 2 is. I've even kicking the hell out of Cao Cao with a little help from my friends and a little treachery, and my best and most

Thanks for the answer. I understand that it could make things easier - after all, why else would I want to do it? - but so long as there are possible
consequences, I would say that would be enough to make one think twice about doing it at all, or doing it too often. Killing off a single disloyal general
might be less desirable if it reduces every other general's loyalty by 5 or 10. If one has a lot of generals with a loyalty of 100, sure, kill the disloyal
one. However, if there are a few...

We used to have that feature that you can simply send an assassin to eliminate taht bastard. However, assassination sometimes could unbalance the game and
make it too easy for the players. We are still testing and deciding to keep the feature for S&H2 or not. In S&H1, you can assassinate your own
generals/governors by paying your honour point. (I think its -10 honour pt each successful assassination) As a result, most new recruited generals will have
lower honour point to start...
