Ming, I'm getting ready to start a second game and hope to get the best ending screen. What are some ways to improve my honor score? I always give gold to the poor and never use ninja for assassination missions. Giving gold actually doesn't seem to raise the score at all (I kept hitting end turn and had about 10 extra 'give gold' events, but my score at the end was unchanged...still at 51). Does letting the government stay intact rather than killing the governor/personnel when you take over a city help? An explanation of the points sytem for honor would be great, but I'll take any tips I can get!

I've been checking the code to see if there's any thing that I missed but couldn't really find one. I'll try to check again see if there's a bug to actually post the end result's honour differently. Please give me a day or two and I'll get back to you.

I have found the bug. Under the current version, the ruler's honour will always close to 50 if you play the campaign long enough. I have to apology that you probably got the highest score already but the bug made your honour score down to 50.
We have fixed the bug but it might take sometime before we can wrap up and test the next patch. |

Sorry, I guess we should make another patch. The code actually has already been fixed. It's just we don't have enough people to test the patch. Maybe we could release a minor patch. Uhm...let me talk to the team and I'll get back to you.

Hmmm...still haven't received it, so I suppose it is being blocked by my provider's spam filters. I'll email you later with a couple of third party addy's that hopefully will let it through.

Yes, I got your email and downloaded the file from XDrive. Thanks! Were there other changes made besides the one to fix the honor score? After I swapped the new .exe file with the old one, I loaded up a saved game. On the first turn, I had a merchant offering to sell me merchandise. I've NEVER had a merchant offer to sell something in any of my previous games. I vaguely remember a thread where it was stated that merchants not appearing was something that was being looked into. At any rate-I like it! |

Hi Kuroitatsunoshi,
The reason we couldn't release it as an official patch is because we have Takeda 2 and K3 (The Three Kingdoms) shared the same source engine code. The benifit is most of new fixes will be updated as we progress to delevement the new project. The drawback is we are lacking of manpower to test the old project (Takeda 2 in this case). So, there're quite some updates and improvements in the new exe but it might contains new bugs as well. I hope your will enjoy the new exe but please don't forget to keep you old .exe, just in case.

Oh yeah...it's safely tucked away just in case. I had wondered why the C3K logo was on the file rather than T2. |
